So in-between all the World Cup Frenzy (by the way, big ups to Ghana for their super 1-0 win over Serbia), I was able to head down to Angelika in Soho to catch the new Michael Douglas flick, Solitary Man. If you thought Douglas acted like the total weasel in “Wall Street” – it’s nothing compared to the role he plays in this flick. He takes on the character of a self-involved, selfish, skirt-chasing, incorrigible NYC car-salesman and he sinks his teeth into the role with much aplomb.
Overall, it’s a thoroughly enjoyable flick and one we strongly recommend. It’s a must-see – so if it’s showing around you – make sure to check it out!
