We were extremely happy when we heard that Umit Benan – one of our favorite menswear designers got the Creative Director position at Trussardi. And now we’re seeing his first debut collection just debuted at the fashion shows in Milan.
He stays true to his character-driven design style seemingly channeling Al Pacino from Carlito’s Way and mixing that with with a 7Os Harlem pimp influence into a bold, standout collection.
One thing we love about Umit is he remains fearless in his designs, and we certainly need to see more of that in fashion.
