Well we don’t usually put up Sports-related posts on Collab Society, but when it comes to our beloved Chelsea, our veins always bleed the deepest and richest blue. It looks like after the sacking of AVB, and his replacement by the assistant coach RDM (shown above), thing are finally moving in the right direction.
The Blue have won about 4 or 5 games in a row, they are thru to the final 8 of the UEFA Cup (after that stunning 4-1 win over Napoli), and thank God, Torres is finally scoring again. It’s good to be a Chelsea fan right now. We’ve slummed in the valleys for so long this season, it’s time to revel at the mountain top.

The story of Jeremy Lin is such a feel good narrative. You have to be frozen inside and a really horrible person to not applaud the underdog-made-good story unfolding before our very eyes.

Well finally the NFL lockout is over. Yesss! Now can we please start seriously preparing for a Fall season of delicious football? Oh and did all of you hear that Reggie Bush is no longer with the Saints – He got traded to the Dolphins but don’t cry for him at all – he’s still going to be making about $11,000,000 a year.

This movie looks like it’s going to be pretty f**kin’ gangster. The actor in this, Dominic Cooper seems to be on the come-up – he also has a co-starring role in the Captain America film starring Chris Evans dropping next week or so. The idea behind the script of someone recruited to be a body-double of one of Saddam’s son’s is pretty intriguing too. Check out the trailer above and let us know what you think.

BV’s premier fragrance comprises several stellar collaborations. The stunning ad was shot by famed photographer Bruce Weber and features model/socialite, Nine d’Urso (daughter to French icon, Inès de la Fressange). The perfume itself was a project between Coty Fragrances and perfumer Michel Almairac to find the perfect blend of Indian patchouli, oak moss, Italian bergamot, jasmine sambac, and pink pepper.

Although the eau de parfum with be released in the U.K. on July 17, it will make its American debut shortly after, in September. Prices will run at $95 for a 1.7-ounce bottle and $130 for the 2.5-ounce size. True scent connoisseurs can buy the limited edition extrait de parfum version for a grand total of $395.

There’s something about raw, gritty but well thought out rap that always manages to bring the goosebumps out. In this new video, Ab-Liva completely rips the track to shreds while Planetarium “P” showboats as usual on the song’s hook. Pay attention to the second verse when Liva spills some dizzying lines that incorporate names of Wu-Tang Clan members – very clever indeed.
