Riccardo Tischi has really elevated Givenchy to some really dizzying heights lately. From overseeing the album artwork for Jay and Yeezie’s “Watch the Throne” to orchestrating sick back-to-back collections for the designer brand he oversees, this guy isn’t playing at all right now.

To keep the momentum going, he scored Mrs. Tom Brady along with other good-looking male models to shoot this sleek “Black-Surf” themed shoot. It was executed by photographers Mert & Marcus and we absolutely love it. There’s something so futuristic and avant-garde about this visual that draws you in. Sexy, fresh, vibrant, opulent – we love it all.

This movie looks effin’ awesome. One of those testosterone-filled, action rides to take your mind away from the stress of your monotonous 9-5 routine. The cast looks fresh too: Wahlberg, Ribisi, Beckinsale and even that guy, Piney who got smoked this season on Sons of Anarchy.

Dapper George does it again – looking like the quintessential Hollywood leading man in a precisely tailored 3-piece plaid suit, debonair pocket square, perfectly silvered hair and one of his famous facial expressions that women swoon over and men of all ages envy.
His new move “The Descendants” looks like it’s a big contender for the Oscars (from the writer of “Sideways”). Have any of you guys out there seen it? If you have, leave us a comment and tell us how you rated it.

A very elegant cover shot though, we must admit. The suit’s fit is flawless.

Representing the Bronx, Fred the Godson may just be the next coming of Big Pun – husky, overweight, super-confident with rhyme skills for days and days. Fred the Godson just dropped his City of God mixtape and there are a lot of gems on there. One of the standout tracks on it is “When Doves Fly” and the video just dropped. It has a fully developed story arch and it’s loosely based on the 2002 motion picture “Paid in Full” featuring Mekhi Phifer, Wood Harris and Cam’ron.

Burberry Prorsum hardly disappoints, and for their Spring 2012 collection, they unleash an array of slick, gentlemanly, formal and semi-formal looks. We can’t help but think that if you’re not rakishly thin, these clothes would probably look horrible on you. But then again, that’s part of the exercise in high-end fashion. Sometimes, your body frame is just as important as the depth of your pocket.

However way you cut it, one can’t help but admit that these clothes are tailored impeccably and the overall sartorial aesthetic is super impressive!

Tony-Award Winner Lemon Andersen’s “County of Kings” will host a special one-night only performance this Sunday, December 11th at El Museo Del Barrio (1230 5th Avenue). This event is presented by the Hip-Hop Theater Festival (www.hhtf.org).

County of Kings gives a tough, yet poignant biographical account of a good kid growing up in an unforgiving environment. Lemon, whose parents met at a methadone clinic and passed away from AIDS, served two prison sentences before he was 21 (more…)

For anyone who believes in good music, you certainly have to download the new mixtape from Grand Rapids, Michigan rapper, Willie The Kid. People don’t realize just how smart some of these rappers are. Listening to WTK is like taking a John Grisham, James Patterson or Robert Ludlum book and diffusing it through a spectrum of authentic, Golden Era Hip-Hop.

The beats are dense, melodic and fantastic all-around, and the overall energy doesn’t make you want to dance per se. Instead it makes you want to read more, get smarter and delve deeper into the culture.

This is Hip-Hop; raw and unadulterated and on intellectual steroids. Oh yes, it’s Gangsta to the core, but it’s so much more!

Daniel Craig is about to take over the movies again with the certified, soon-to-be Blockbuster;”The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” dropping this December. Also filming is going to start soon on the new Bond movie called “SkyFall” dropping in late 2012 probably.

This new cover of Men’s Journal tells a thousand stories: it’s raw, real, expressive and stripped down. We certainly approve!
