TECHNOLOGY

Technology companies Nokia and Intel have recently announced a new research lab in Oulu, Finland called the “The Intel and Nokia Joint Innovation Center.” It’s located at the University of Oulu and it will house about 24 researchers. The main focus of this coalition is working on new advancements on the 3D mobile internet platform. The focus of the initial work will be on three-dimensional virtual reality platforms as well as on mapping.

Just another piece of information that proves that while you’re lounging at home and watching nonsense like “Jersey Shore” on the television, others are toiling away really hard to make substantial differences in the world around us. Kinda makes you want to get your ‘ish together – doesn’t it?
