IN THEIR WORDS
“Flowers have provided an outlet for me to escape into and emerge feeling lighter and lifted. I deeply hope that we can provide a sense of that to whomever comes our way.”

PREFERRING NATURE THAT’S BARELY TAMED,
Willow Crossley’s creations feature vibrant color palettes, intricate details, and patterns and textures that come together in unique and beautiful ways. A firm advocate of sustainable, seasonal floristry, Willow prioritizes using locally grown stems in her installation and education work for world-renowned clients including Chanel, Jo Malone, Liz Earle, OKA, Daylesford, Anthropologie, Boden, and The Duchess of Sussex.

Having a background in design and fashion journalism, it wasn’t until Willow relocated to a vineyard in Southern France to give birth to first son that she discovered her passion for flowers. She wrote two books during her time there, The Art of Handmade Living (2012) and The Art of Living with Nature (2014); the second of which included a section on living with flowers. This chapter was the beginning of a lifelong relationship.

“Working with the seasons, we often forage locally for foliage or pick favourites from the garden. In spring delicate blooms emerge, before summer brings an abundance of bold shades. In autumn we opt for fiery hues and copper tones before a winter filled with rich, earthy colours and textures.”

With further training at Covent Garden Academy of Flowers, her eponymous brand has gently blossomed into a collective of incredible handpicked florists and specialist makers, united by their shared love of open-minded, imaginative design.

Based in the Cotswolds, Willow Crossley counts floral workshops, private styling commissions, published literature, botanical collaborations, and a concise collection of handmade vessels and garden accessories among its offerings. Willow has also designed two Cotswold hotels and pubs, The Bull Inn and The Swan, both featured in Country Life, Tatler, and House & Garden.

Interested above all in the profound impact nature has on our emotional and mental wellbeing, Willow Crossley has gained a substantial following for her down-to-earth, inclusive approach to floristry and gardening. Pamela Berrick first connected with Willow through one of her critically acclaimed online floristry course, titled Create Academy.

Willow Crossley has authored two additional books since her time living in France, Flourish (2016) and The Wild Journal (2020).
